Gemini promises improvements with 4.2 firmware
Published: PRODUCTS
Gemini has released a 4.2 firmware update for the CDJ-650 professional DJ media player, the CDJ-700 multi-media player, the CDMP-7000 professional media workstation and the CDMP-2700 professional 2U dual media player.
The update introduces a number of improvements, including a bettered audio interface performance in Midi mode and HID performance on a Mac, in addition to further support for WL files and the added option to select Midi channels, as well as a host of random bug fixes.
With 4.2, a user can enter the ‘Midi setup mode’ by holding the Midi button, and can select ‘hot cue’ 1,2,3 or ‘memo’ (4) for Midi channels one to four, which also now have dedicated TSI files. This last feature eliminates the need to select in/out ports, as ‘all ports’ can now be selected.
