Halo Upmix climbs to new heights

9.1 surround mixing capability has been added to Nugen Audio’s Halo Upmix solution. The addition allows for vertical positioning in an upmix, generating Dolby 7.1.2 (Atmos) compatible mix. The plugin is available in available in Avid AAX, VST, and AU formats.
In addition to Halo Upmix, the company’s MasterCheck loudness software for music streaming services has been updated with dedicated presets for Spotify and YouTube. Additionally, the plugin now includes a new compact mode for those working with limited screen space and laptops, as well as improved Apple Retina Display support and new solo buttons for individual channel auditioning.
