HOW target for JVC

Having designed the GY-HM200HW 4KCAM with houses of worship specifically in mind, JVC Professional Video launched the live stream video camera at this year’s Worship Facilities Conference and Expo (WFX). Expanding upon the GY-HM200, the GY-HM200HW features on-board customised graphics and titling that can be altered for different events. It is possible to also add custom church logos.

‘Some churches do not have the equipment or personnel to support a multi-camera video production of their worship services,’ explained JVC Kenwood USA product marketing manager, Craig Yanagi. ‘With the GY-HM200HW, it’s easier than ever for a single camera operator to produce a high-quality production with professional graphics – and then stream those services or other church activities live over the internet.’

The user can select whether to record with or without the graphics overlay, which is produced for streamed and recorded video simultaneously. The camera, which records in SD, HD and 4K to Class 10 SDHC/SDXC memory cards, has a built-in HD streaming engine that can stream directly to content delivery networks (CDN), including Facebook Live and YouTube over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connections. The live feed can also be streamed to a decoder, providing alternative distribution options.
