Idea Spot 300

SGM has introduced a family of moving heads with different beam apertures under the ‘Idea’ banner. The Idea Spot 300 contains an electronic ballast to ensure that it runs flicker-free; linear zoom, which enables instant adjustment of the light beam from 16° to 35°, CMY colour mixing system, seven interchangeable gobos and effects wheel.

The Idea Beam 300 incorporates a 300W lamp for a very narrow, highly concentrated light beam. The beam can be coloured and shaped by the CMY colour mixing system, colour wheel with eight colours and white, eight rotary indexable and customisable gobos, rotary three-facet prism.

Idea Wash 300 projects an even wash beam even at short distances. Fitted with a colour wheel with eight dichroic filters, beam shaper and CMY colour mixing system, it is able to create a wide range of atmospheres and effects.

SGM has also released the IP55-rated Palco Full Color LED fixture. Adopting the same footprint as the other models in the Palco range, Palco Full Color is the latest technical evolution in this family.

Palco Full Color uses Rebel LED, a light source with a new concept and a maximum performance of 80 lumens. It has been designed to accommodate 105 LED in a matrix of 35 lenses, each with a power of 9W, enabling a total brightness of 5,500 lumens (RGB) or 12,000 lumens (WA). The fixture uses a new colour mixing system, which enables the red, blue and green Rebel LED to be mixed within a single lens, thus occupying a minimum space. It has an option of three different lenses: narrow, medium and wide.
