The iM1 and iM9 DJ mixers have been launched by Numark, alongside the CDN77USB USB/CD player and the DJ2GO controller.
The two-channel iM1 mixer boasts an iPod dock plus connections for standard turntables, CD players, line-level sources and a microphone. Features include trim and line faders, rotary EQs on each channel, and a mini-crossfader. The larger iM9, meanwhile, offers four-channels plus an ‘integrated beatkeeper’ function to automatically detect a source’s BPM and create crossfades.
The CDN77USB is a USB/CD player designed for budget-conscious DJs. The player offers features such as master tempo, scratching, seamless loop, pitch control, reverse and brake effects plus an auto-BPM counter.
Finally, the MIDI-compliant DJ2GO micro-controller boasts two platters, a crossfader, pitch and level controls as well as deck A, deck B, master and headphone gain controls. Users can load and assign tracks to either of the two included deck control sections without using a computer. Sync and headphone buttons allow the user to sync two tracks and monitor either deck section. A special edition of the Virtual DJ software is also bundled with DJ2GO, designed to compliment the controller.
