Improved customisation for award-winning RTI keypad

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) has added new customisation options to award-winning RKM-1 multi-room audio keypad for the installation sector, naming the improved version the RKM-1+.

The new version offers the same core features as its predecessor, including two-way feedback capability and direct IR control, but with the addition of a selection of faceplate covers and hard buttons. Available colours include white, black, and light almond, while the keypad can be used with any standard Decora-type wallplate. It is sized for a single gang electrical box to provide a flush fit within walls, or to be concealed in a cabinet.

The selected source lens is also now interchangeable, while dealers can create their own custom lens by using the RTI Laser Shark custom engraving service. The intended result is more simplified control and a more refined aesthetic for completed installations.
