Infrared Wireless microphones

Infrared signals from the microphone transmitters do not leave the room and so several adjoining rooms can run independent systems without risk of interference, making the infrared microphone system ideal for educational applications, conferences or any other situation where multiple systems operate simultaneously in close proximity. Infra red technology also eliminates the risk of confidential information being transmitted outside the meeting room, making it suitable for business environments that require confidentiality.

The IR wireless microphone system is composed of an IR-702T 2-channel IR tuner, which can receive signals from any two IR transmitters simultaneously, an IR-200M hand-held IR microphone transmitter, an IR-300M body-pack microphone with external microphone input, IR remote receivers (IR-500R, IR-510R, IR-520R),IR-200BT rechargeable NiMH batteries and an optional IR-200BC charging station.

The system can also use an optional four-way distributor, the IR-700D, offering the flexibility to expand to four IR receivers, or up to 16 receivers in conjunction with TOA’s YW-1022/1024 distributors. Both the infrared wireless microphone system and the infrared conference system (TOA’s TS-800 and TS-900 Series IR Conferencing Systems) can be used simultaneously in the same location.
