JTS launches flute and harmonica mics

JTS has launched the CX-500F and CX-520 for miking flute and harmonica respectively.
The CX-500F features an omni directional capsule with golden plated diaphragm and case. The manufacturer reports the holder can firmly hold flutes of any size, while the instrument is protected due to the holder’s rubber lining. It has a mini gooseneck for positioning, and is terminated with a four-pin mini XLR connector to work directly with JTS wireless transmitter. A phantom power module MA-500 is bundled for wired application. The 8g mic has a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz and a maximum SPL of 130dB.
The CX-520 harmonica mic comes from JTS’ D-25 moving coil dynamic capsule family. It has been designed for use with both diatonic and chromatic harmonicas. It has a tailored windscreen under the grille and a contoured body. The 470g mic has a supercardioid polar pattern and a frequency response of 50Hz-16.5kHz. The manufacturer reports the capsule can withstand 50 drops from height of 150 cm.
