K-T Network Modules aid Midas virtual soundchecks

A pair of network modules have joined the portfolio of Klark-Teknik in the shape of the KT-USB and KT-AES50. Intended as ‘connect and go’ recording and virtual sound check solutions for Midas’ Pro consoles, they are compatible with the manufacturer’s DN9650 and DN9652 network bridges plus the Midas Neutron-NB expansion module.
As the name implies, the KT-USB is a class-compliant USB 2.0 module intended to connect to either a Mac or PC running any industry standard DAW software. The unit facilitates a total of 48 bidirectional channels at 48kHz and 24 bidirectional channels at 96kHz.
The KT-AES50 provides a dual port AES50 digital audio interface which operates from the incoming AES50 clock or an external clock. It features up to 48 bidirectional channels and operates at 96kHz and 48kHz.
