LD Systems embraces Dante

The LD Systems DSP 44 K power amplifier is the German developer’s first product to integrate Dante audio and control networking. Initially created in cooperation with Ram Audio, the new model features fully integrated Dante networkable DSP and control via USB and Ethernet using external control PC software. It can be operated as a 2- or 4-channel device, providing either 4x1,000W at 4- or 2-ohms or 2x2,000W (bridge mode) at 8- or 4-ohms. A full suite of safety features has been integrated into the design in addition to FIR/IIR filtering, EQs, crossovers and delay functions. An extensive preset library available for LD Systems speakers serve as a protection, whilst ensuring optimum adjustment for room acoustics.
