LD Systems sets the stage dressed in white

LD Systems has extended the appeal of the Curv 500 AV and Maui 5 speaker systems by making them available in a white finish. In this neutral colour, unobtrusive designs are ideal for fashion shows, houses of worship and corporate events.
Offering 380W of power (RMS) and a maximum SPL of 122dB, the Curv 500 AV incorporates a 10-inch bass reflex subwoofer with a Class-D amplifier and a 4-channel mixer with 16 digital effects presets. Measuring 120x120x120mm, both satellites are operated via SmartLink adapters. The proprietary WaveAhead technology, together with the single 4-inch and triple 1-inch drivers combine to create detailed playback. For additional power, a total of eight array satellites can be used for stereo playback (max four per-side), for which the audio files can be streamed via Bluetooth.
With a mixer and Bluetooth, the portable Maui 5 column system is a combined PA and monitor solution. Weighing 11kg and with a peak power output of 800W, the smallest member of the Maui family is reportedly capable of producing 120dB maximum SPL with a high resistance to feedback. Integrating a specially-developed multi-pin connection system and only four components, the column system can be easily and quickly assembled states the manufacturer. Integrated Bluetooth technology for wireless streaming as well as microphone, line and high-impedance inputs can be used simultaneously, allowing several different sources to be connected simultaneously.
