Lexicons PCM Native Effects Plug-In Bundle now available for download

Harman brand Lexicon has announced that its PCM Native Effects Plug-In Bundle is now available for download.

Reportedly ‘bringing the sounds of its PCM96 stereo reverb and effects processor to more users than ever before’, the software package makes all the effects processing of the PCM96 hardware available as a plug-in, which the manufacturer claims add a ‘wealth of effects’ to a user’s DAW.

A new feature is a Stringbox algorithm providing a user with 88 virtual strings resonating according to the audio in. Additionally, the manufacturer is keen to point out several new tuning and panning options, as well as a virtual keyboard and randomiser. The plug-in bundle also includes features from the PCM96 hardware including dual and random delay, chorus and flange, resonant chords, pitch-shift and multi-voice pitch shift.

Compatible with both PC and Mac platforms, the Bundle is designed to work with popular DAWs like Pro Tools and Logic, as well as with any other VST, audio unit or RTAS-compatible host. It is available for download from the Lexicon website, is Native only and requires iLok2 authorisation. A discounted upgrade path is available for PCM Native Reverb users.
