Lynx-Mix 164-EVO

Alto has added several mixers to its Lynx-Mix range, including the 16-input, four-bus rack-mount 164-EVO console with USB interface. Like the other mixers in the series, the 164-EVO has a detachable USB port/MP3 player section, which can be routed to inputs 9/10 together with four aux sends for stage monitors and effects. Two out of three detachable functions can be added including a graphic EQ, a 24-bit digital stereo effects processor or an MP3 player. The three combinations offer the user nine-band EQ with DSP effect, nine-band EQ with an MP3 player or a DSP effect with a MP3 player. Other features include 10 microphone input channels with gold plated XLR and balanced line inputs and four aux sends per channel, including two pre/post faders switchable for monitoring application effects together with a sound processor input. Other common features include a four-band fixed EQ on stereo line channels. Each input channel also has mute, solo, overload and signal present LEDs.

The PS Litepack series of active, two-way systems has been extended with the addition of the PS5 Litepack Evo speaker. Weighing 19.1kg, the PS5 incorporates a 300W 15-inch neodymium woofer and a 50W 1-inch compression driver. Capable of producing a maximum SPL of 123dB, the trapezoidal plastic cabinet comes with a pole mount, two handles and three eyebolt points. Like the other speakers in the series, the PS5 Litepack Evo has 24-bit DSP built-in and class-D amplification modules to power the LF and HF sections.
