Lynx Technik AG has launched the yellobrik fibre solutions, intending to significantly expand its line of yellobrik ‘brick-style’ modules.
The yellobrik OTT 1812 is a dual-channel 3G/HD/SD-SDI to fibre transmitter. It provides two independent 3G/HD/SD-SDI to fibre transmission channels and supports distances up to 10km over single mode fibre. Each auto-detecting SDI input channel is reclocking and the two 1,310nm fiber-optic outputs use LC connectors.
The OTT 1842 is a dual-channel 3G/HD/SDI to fibre transmitter with CWDM. This unit provides two independent 3G/HD/SD-SDI to fibre transmission channels and supports distances up to 40km over single mode fibre. Key to this unit is its 18 user selectable fibre optic wavelengths for multiplexed CWDM applications. The ORR 1802 dual-channel fibre to 3G/HD/SD-SDI receiver includes two independent fibre optic to SDI receiver channels and is suitable for all CWDM wavelengths. Each of the two SDI outputs is reclocking and bit rate auto-detecting.
The yellobrik OET 1510 Ethernet fibre transceiver extends 10/100/1000 Ethernet signals up to 10km, and boasts a three-port Ethernet switch with fibre I/O. Alternately, the yellobrik OET 1540 Ethernet fibre transceiver with CWDM 10/100/1000 Ethernet signals up to 40km. It has 18 user selectable fibre optic wavelengths for multiplexed CWDM fibre applications and features a three-port Ethernet switch with fibre I/O.
The yellobrik OCM 1891 nine-channel CWDM fibre optic multiplexer is a mux/demux unit that combines up to nine fibre optic channels into one fibre and supports wavelengths 1,270nm to 1,430nm. The unit can be upgraded via a built-in UPG port to multiplex 18 channels. The OCM 1892 nine-channel CWDM fibre optic multiplexer supports 1,450-1,610nm wavelengths. This mux/demux unit combines up to nine fibre optic channels into one fibre and can also be upgraded via a built-in UPG port to multiplex 18 channels.
Lynx Technik has also added a new distribution amplifier to the yellobrik line. The yellobrik DVA 1704 is a one input, four output analogue video or sync distribution amplifier. It distributes analogue SD and HD video signals or SD bi-level and HD tri-level sync pulses. It features user-adjustable gain and cable equalisation for signal integrity. It has been designed for wide bandwidth applications that require splitting an incoming signal into multiple outputs.
