Tascam has announced the IF-AV/DM and IF-CB/DM interface cards for its DM-3200 and DM-4800 digital consoles, which allow connection to Aviom and CobraNet systems over CAT-5 cable.  The IF-AV/DM sends up to 16 channels to an A-Net network, while the IF-CB/DM sends 16 channels in and out to CobraNet devices up to 100m away.

The LM-8ST is a 1-u height rack-mountable line mixer providing eight pairs of balanced quarter-inch TRS inputs, switchable from +4 or -10dB, which can be bussed to a pair of XLR balanced outputs, labelled ST1 and ST2/AUX. Pre or post-fader bussing is available for the alternate bus, while master output level controls and metering keep signals under control. A microphone input is also provided for announcements or performance.

The manufacturer is now shipping the MH-8 headphone amplifier providing eight stereo outputs at 250mW per side with three switchable sources available. Two stereo inputs can be shared to any of the outputs and individual stereo direct inputs are available for each of the eight channels. A headphone out can select any one of these inputs or mix several together, while a set of foldback outputs allows other MH-8s to be chained into the system.

The US-800 is a lightweight multichannel recording interface that has been primarily designed for laptop users providing up to 192kHz / 24-bit audio resolution. It offers eight inputs and four outputs for capturing dynamic multi-microphone performances, together with six XLR microphone inputs equipped with phantom power for attaching condenser microphones. Other features include two-segment LED metering for each analogue input, quarter and eighth-inch stereo headphone outputs and 16-channel MIDI input and output
