Italian manufacturer Wisycom has developed a new dual true diversity – UHF miniature camera ENG receiver featuring a modular execution ‘standalone’ or ‘slot-in’ for use with Panasonic, Sony and Grass Valley products.
The MCR42 camera receiver comes with four receivers, which are internally coupled by two in a real true diversity configuration. Its front end has a chain of micro-controlled-driven movable filters to allow broadband operation up to 240MHz with great selectivity, whilst low consumption DSP offers hybrid analogue and digital technologies with a patented push to talk feature. The dual true diversity receiver comes in a modular stand-alone or slot-in format and the switching bandwidth offers up 240MHz in the UHF range. Set up and operation can be performed from a front panel OLED display and Infrared interface offers programming and transmitter synchronisation. Furthermore, digital sub-carrier telemetry technology offers remote TX battery monitoring and tone-squelch operation.
The MTP30 and the MTH300 are respectively a pocket sized and hand held transmitter designed for use with the MCR42 and other single and multi-channel wireless microphone applications. Once again, they are equipped with an OLED display, dedicated gain/frequency buttons together with an easy joggle selector. The MTH300 can be equipped with custom Schoeps capsules giving outstanding tonal performances for speech and vocalist. The MTP30 and the MTH300 integrates latest Wisycom RF technology offering protection against noise and low inter-modulation, which is also available with the RF circulator option.
