MP25 mixer released to celebrate Rane 30th anniversary

Coinciding with the company’s 30th anniversary, Rane has introduced the MP25 DJ mixer, which is designed to enable the simultaneous playback of four stereo sources, the recording of five stereo channels, and the insertion of computer-based effects.

Boasting the manufacturer’s FlexFX architecture which allows DJs to apply a variety of effects to any combination of mic and program inputs, the MP25 offers two microphone inputs, four phono preamps, four analogue aux inputs, four low-latency stereo USB inputs, analogue and USB effects insert loops, a variety of analogue and digital outputs and a 4U design.

Rane has also launched the SL 4 interface in conjunction with Serato, describing it as the first standalone DJ interface with two high-speed USB 2.0 ports.

The 24-bit/96kHz SL 4 can support four turntables or CD decks, four software-switchable analogue through connections for regular vinyl or CD, a 48kHz sample rate switch, 10-in 10-out USB sound card with any software supporting ASIO or Core Audio, and bus power from either USB port or the included external power supply.
