NEC’s M Series projectors get a refresh
Published: PRODUCTS
NEC Display has made several new additions to its M Series range of projectors, with improvements including higher brightness and contrast ratios and lower noise levels. The lamp life has also been extended to 10,000 hours while a new iOS App called NEC Wireless Image Utility allows wireless presentations from an iPhone or iPad.
The five new models with XGA (1024x768) and WXGA (1280×800) resolution, range from 2,700 up to 3,600 ANSI lumens and feature the same 1.7x optical zoom as their predecessors.
The new M Series projectors all feature several eco-friendly benefits, including standby power consumption of 0.4W and several eco-modes that reduce power consumption and extend the life of the projector. These have been added to the range’s current features such as a carbon meter, auto power off and remote and network timer functions.
Finally, the flagship model of the new range, the NEC M311W, is also TCO certified, meaning it meets requirements for environment, energy, social responsibility and image performance.
