New components enhance Audio-Technica’s SpectraPulse UWB system

Audio-Technica has introduced two new components for its SpectraPulse ultra wideband (UWB) wireless microphone system. Together, the new chg004 four-bay charger for SpectraPulse transmitters and the sei001 encryption interface work to enhance the overall performance of the system.

The new chg004 can hold either mtu101 microphone transmitters or mtu201 XLR desk stand transmitters, and can charge up to two mtu301 body-pack transmitters. The complete package comprises the chg004 charger, 12 NiMH AA batteries, two charging cables, a wall adapter power supply and an installation/operation manual. The charger incorporates built-in safety features that monitor cell voltage and automatically stop charging if problems are detected, or if alkaline or damaged batteries are installed.

The sei001 one-bay encryption station is now included with the optional sep128 encryption software, which meets the AES 128-bit encryption standard.
