New firmware for LA4 LA8 and LA Network Manager

L-Acoustics has released new firmware for LA4, LA8 and LA Network manager. The major release includes Firmware 2.0.0.2, LA Network Manager 2.1.0.1 and Preset Library 3.0. It is available from the manufacturers download centre.
New features in Firmware 2.0.0.2 include; audio being available within 9s of power being switched on, while output delay has been extended to 680ms per channel. Equally, LA8 now comes with both LA8 and LA4 presets onboard and the routing for the output channels can be set from the preset parameters menu.
LA Network Manager 2.1.0.1 now offers compatibility with Windows 8. It has a new L-Com network engine offering fast detection of units and improved protocol of data transfer. The new release also features enhanced contour EQ including zoom factor with wide range and fine steps and eight IIR filters with Q factor up to 40.
Preset Library 3.0 meanwhile sees a simplified preset structure and the integration of various LA4 presets.
