Nuendo SyncStation

Steinberg is shipping the Nuendo SyncStation, a 19-inch rack-mount synchroniser for control of video and audio tape machines, DAW systems, house clock generators and other devices.

SyncStation allows workstations to lock to tri-level/HD and SD video sync, distribute word clock signals up to 192kHz and communicate with external machines via Midi Machine Control and Sony P2 9-pin via RS422. It also supports standards and protocols such as MTC, LTC and MMC in addition to VITC and Sony 9-pin via RS422, word clock, HD/Tri-level sync, Black Burst and Varispeed operation. The Nuendo SyncStation synchroniser may also be controlled from within the Nuendo DAW providing many additional features such as clock manipulation, GP interfacing and Varispeed. The unit also supports the sample-accurate VST System Link protocol over digital connections such as AES/EBU and SPDIF.
