Nugen integrates Loudness Toolkit 2 into Adobe Premiere

Adobe Premiere users can access LM-Correct 2 as a Common Extensibility Platform panel within the editing environment following the latest release of Nugen Audio’s LM-Correct 2, Loudness Toolkit’s quick-fix tool. This will allow for LRA targeting through LM-Correct 2’s DynApt extension.

Available as a free update for all existing LM-Correct 2 users, the Adobe Premiere Pro CC integration completes an entire Nugen loudness solution for Premiere Pro, which also includes the VisLM-H2 Loudness Meter and the ISL 2 True-Peak Limiter.

In other news, the manufacturer has also upgraded its sonic-sculpting and matching EQ plugins, SEQ-S and SEQ-ST. The upgrade adds a fluid filter morphing feature tools that enables morphs between two sets of curves and an improved match EQ algorithm.

The fluid filter morphing features three fully independent filter envelope transition pairs, mid/side and left/right operation, 5.1 and 7.1 surround in the SEQ-S version of the plugin and static high-pass, low-pass, and dynamic-pass filter mode. In addition to this, there is tempo-locked time base with BPM multipliers, absolute time-based transitions and multiple transition modes including single, return and loop.

With the improved match EQ algorithm, Nugen has enhanced high-frequency capture in Match Mode and improved the frequency-optimised spectrum analysis view. In addition there is further optimisation for increased detail across all frequencies, as well as a new file-based preset system and fine-tune control keyboard modifiers.

Finally, the manufacturer has also responded to customer requests for increased flexibility, more processing power, and scalable access to expanded capabilities with its Audio Management Batch (AMB) processor. The processor is built on the concept of the manufacturer’s Loudness Management Batch (LMB) processing tools and features threaded algorithm processing and multiple processing threads that are addressable for simultaneous parallel handling of files and queues.
