Building on its flagship series audio monitors and to assist in the transition to IP-based workflows, TSL Products has developed the PAM-IP range. This IP-version contains the existing PAM features while adding support for Video over IP (S2022-6), AoIP (Dante/AES67) and UHD (4K over 12G-SDI or Quad3G-SDI).
With 1U and 2U models available, PAM-IP comes in two variations: HD (3G) or UHD (12G) and being a modular platform, can be configured to suit a user’s particular requirements. Designed to offer flexibility when it comes to format, an array Dolby options are offered as well as the array of connection choices. Users can reportedly select between a traditional SDI source and an S2022-6 IP stream for monitoring video, audio and metadata. PAM-IP can also be used as a format converter for converting Video over IP to SDI and HDMI.
While PAM has branched out, the MPA audio monitor family has seen some growth with the addition of the MPA1- Mix/Solo, which is available in four versions: Madi, Hydra2, Ravenna and Dante. Each model contains a built-in web server that allows users to remotely control and view the status of MPA1 monitors while also enabling configuration of individual units and functions.
All four MPA1- Mix/Solo units include Madi inputs and outputs in addition to the I/O that that it has been named for. As such the Hydra2 model includes Hydra2 I/O, the Ravenna unit features Ravenna connection and the Dante variant possesses Dante. In addition to Madi I/O, the Madi model also possesses an analogue I/O.
