Crown Audio has announced its ‘Powered By Crown’ iPad/iPhone App, designed to provide users with enhanced control and configuration of its amplifiers.
The new application has been designed to control and monitor amplifiers by setting the basic control panels on an amplifier, or handle a complete setup through Harman HiQnet System Architect.
The new application is tailored towards touring professionals and integrators and can be used to control numerous lines of Crown amplifiers including I-Tech, I-Tech HD, CTs, and Macro Tech I Series amplifiers. It can be deployed on two, four and eight channel amplifiers, controlling parameters including inputs, routing, load monitoring, metering, thermal conditions and levels.
Meanwhile, Crown has announced it has extended the warranty coverage for its I-Tech HD, CTs and Macro-Tech i Amplifiers from three years to five years. The new ‘no-fault’ warranty covers repairs that may occur during normal usage as well as from accidental damage, and is transferrable from the original owner. Other Crown Audio amplifier models and products will continue to be covered by the existing three-year no-fault warranty.
