PS6 powers dbx’s PMC16
Published: PRODUCTS
dbx has introduced the PS6 power supply for its PMC16 personal monitor controller. The ‘road-worthy’ PS6 can supply AC power for up to six separate PMC16 units, and as such is suited for applications ranging from house of worship systems with a single compact mixing console to large-scale orchestra installations of up to 60 PMC16 units.
dbx designed the multi-power supply to provide users with a functional and flexible option that will allow them to have a highly scalable setup as they add additional PMC16s. XX cables are included with the PS6, and the power supply unit connects to a PMC16 via a standard 12-volt DC centre-negative cable.
The PMC can be configured to operate with either 48kHz or 96kHz D/A conversion, and its built-in dbx PeakStop limiting prevents the possibility of signal overload.
