Revolabs connects to the cloud

Incorporating the same audio technology as the rest of the FLX family of products, Revolabs’ new FLX UC 1000 aims to set a new standard in conference phone audio by combining high-fidelity audio with an ‘eye-catching’, compact design. Doubling as a high-performance IP conference phone and a USB audio device, the 1000’s design enables unified communications by supporting both USB audio for PC communication tools and SIP telephony for IP PBXs or in-the-cloud use.

The unit features audio capture and delivery via premium tweeter and mid-woofer elements, four microphones for 360-degree coverage, an ultra-wide frequency response, and integrated echo cancellation.

For IP calling, the FLX UC 1000 features a separate dialler with a colour display, while USB support allows users to connect the speakerphone to any laptop, PC, or tablet for use with all market-leading IP PBX phone systems. The compact device can also function as a bridge for joining IP telephone calls with USB applications.

A smaller version of the 1000 has also been released. Named the FLX UC 500, the unit is made from the same components but omits the IP-calling and SIP telephony tools included with its bigger brother.
