Revolabs wireless mic systems boasts AES-256 encryption

Joining Revolabs’ Executive HD product range is the rack-mountable MaxSecure wireless microphone system and compatible microphones, supporting the AES-256 encryption standard (designed for compliance with the US standards AES FIPS 197 and AES FIPS 140-2).

Designed for environments including high-end boardrooms and large auditoria, each Executive HD unit provides support for up to eight microphones, while multiple units can be linked together to support up to 32 microphones per area. The system can also be integrated with all control systems via RS-232 or Ethernet. On-board control is via a front-panel LCD display, while management software is also available.

Despite the new launch, the manufacturer will also continue to offer its standard 128-bit encryption solution.

Equally new from the manufacturer are its Hybrid HD microphones and XLR adapter, which have been designed to offer flexibility in conferencing applications.

Constantly powered and located around the conference table, the wired Hybrid microphones and XLR adapters are intended to optimise audio pick-up during meetings. When wireless operation is required, the microphones can be removed from the power source and placed where required around the table.

Other features include Revolabs’ ‘Designed for Speech’ technology for ‘crystal-clear audio’, integrated ‘RF Armor’ to avoid unwanted interference, and 128-bit encryption. Hybrid HD microphones are available in omnidirectional and directional table-top versions.

In other Revolabs news, the manufacturer’s FLX wireless VoIP conference phone has successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, v8.6.
