RF analysis in tablet-form

Kaltman Creations is laying claim to the title of manufacturer of the first tablet-based RF spectrum analyser of its kind with the newest addition to its Invisible Waves line, the RF-Vue Tablet. The analyser was reportedly designed by pro audio engineer and includes a newly created feature in the manufacturer’s Touch to Listen technology, which allows users to listen to RF signals directly, identifying interference with the press of a button. Local severity is gauged by way of the system’s inbuilt RF Congestion Scale tool with 100 colour-coded customisable markers available for monitoring the performance of transmitters and tracking the sources of any interference.

The system is available in a variety of frequency ranges up to 2.5 GHz and presents users with Adaptive Sweep functionality, designed for ensuring quick and accurate scans in any frequency range. RF-Vue can be purchased in one of two versions: the first is in the form of permanently-mounted RF analyser hardware that comes preconfigured on a Windows tablet; the second provides the system as a standalone option to be paired with a compatible tablet. The user interface is designed to be intuitive and includes an on-screen Help Assistant tool.
