Riedel targets broadcasters with Smartpanel Expansion

Riedel has extended its RSP-2318 Smartpanel with the introduction of the ESP-2324 Expansion Smartpanel. Adding four high-resolution multi-touch colour displays to the RSP-2318’s existing three and an additional 24 keys, the ESP-2324 when connected to the original Smartpanel device offers seven displays and 42 keys in a 2U space.
Targeting broadcasters and A/V professionals, Riedel states that up to four ESP-2324 Smartpanel Expansions are supported by the manufacturer’s RSP-2318 intercom app, resulting in configurations of up to 19 screens with 114 keys. The displays themselves are reportedly designed to be read easily, even at wide angles and in bright sunlight.
