S3L software update streamlines workflows

New Additions have been made to Avid’s S3L live sound system, providing users with performance enhancements and more flexible and efficient workflows.

The updates reportedly allow users to mix and capture performances quicker and more cost effectively, with new features including I/O sharing and gain tracking across multiple S3L systems, improved surface navigation, the introduction of user-definable fader layouts, and VCA and Group Spill. It also enables engineers to use the S3 control surface standalone to mix DAW sessions, and features an updated OS with support for 64-bit AAX plug-ins.

The new functionality is available via Venue 4.5 and EuControl 3.2 software updates, and can be downloaded through customers Avid accounts.
