SC-1080H

Hall Research has released the Model SC-1080H, a multi-input, multi-format audio/video Scaler for the professional A/V market.

Supporting five types of A/V input – HDMI/DVI, PC/VGA, YPbPr, S-Video and Composite Video – the unit provides scaled digital video output from any source. The SC-1080H can accept various video formats and resolutions and its output can be scaled to any desired resolution for display on HDMI or DVI compliant display. Audio inputs include both analogue and digital, while the audio output is digital (SPDIF) on a separate connector as well as embedded in the HDMI video stream.

Front panel controls, IR remote, and professional RS232 control interface allow its use in many professional applications and installations. It is capable of producing any PC resolution up to 1920x1280 or HDTV resolution up to 1080p. The SC-1080H provides extensive on-screen display capabilities, and supports EDID on all applicable ports. Analogue video inputs support both NTSC and PAL video and feature adaptive 3D comb filter for the best possible performance. The unit is 1U-high and half-rack wide, so that two can fit side-by-side in a 19-inch rack.
