Show D-500 designed for low impedance

Show has unveiled the D-500.4 digital class-D power amplifier. Designed to produce a low impedance load output, the four-channel 500Wx4 model integrates Neutrik Combo XLR and TRX inputs with Speakon-4 outputs. Whilst management and configuration can be conducted via the front panel LED, an encoder has been added for control. Available as stereo, parallel and bridged versions with DSP control, the 1-unit height amplifier comes with a full suite of protections including full short circuit, open circuit, thermal, ultrasonic and RF. The green credentials of the 7.3kg amplifier have been furthered courtesy of an auto standby operating mode integrated into its design.
