Shure introduces the IH6500 headset

Shure’s new IH6500 is an integrated headset aimed at those who require flexibility. Designed for professional use, the unit reportedly offers speech intelligibility, multiple connectivity options, removable ear pads and a movable gooseneck microphone boom. The IH6500 is also compatible with Shure DCS 6000-series interpreter sets, including the IS 6132 P.

According to the manufacturer, the new headset has been designed for extended use, with a compact fit that is stated to minimise the pickup of background noise and adjacent voices. Interpreters will also have access to the included 3.5mm TRSS and DIN adapter cables to allow use with a variety of interpreter units.
