Simplicity in installation from multi-channel CAP amplifiers

Audac has created its new CAP Series of professional 100V multi-channel power amplifiers with a view to simplifying the installation process, despite a broad range of power options for end-users.
The amplifiers give the installer the choice of running in 2 x 240W, 2 x 480W, 4 x 120W, 4 x 240W and even 4 x 480Watt configurations across five models – the CAP224, CAP248, CAP412, CAP424 and CAP448.
Other features include switching power supplies in combination with Class-D technology, plus a built-in multipurpose protection circuit that protects against DC malfunction, short circuit, overheating, overload and limitation of the signal when necessary. A separate gain control potentiometer is also included on every channel alongside a high-pass filter switch for every input connectors on the rear.
Crucially, the manufacturer states that the CAP amps ‘only possess the necessary controls and connections’ to ensure simplicity in use.
