Skyping with the Spider family

Phoenix Audio Technologies has integrated Skype for Business with its Spider product family, which currently comprises three devices with USB speakerphone interfaces: the MT505 SIP/IP Telephone, MT502 PSTN Telephone and MT503 Smart Interface. All three are now fully compatible with the messaging meeting and screen-sharing application.
The MT502 PSTN and the MT505 SIP models also feature secondary telephone interfaces with functioning dial pads and displays. This functionality also works when the units are connected to Skype using Phoenix Audio’s USB extender, the MT340 Power Hub.
‘With a single device on your table or desk, you can now fully control your Skype calls, in addition to using it as your daily speakerphone and conference phone. No longer is a separate keyboard, mouse, or dedicated controller necessary to dial out and initiate a video conferencing session,’ explained the manufacturer’s COO, Jacob Marash.
