Smart AV upgrades Tango Console

Smart AV recently announced an upgrade of its Tango Console operating software to version 2.5.
The new release reportedly includes a range of features for many DAW engines – Logic Pro users can now insert plug-ins directly from the Tango surface, as well as control and remove them, while Nuendo boasts increased jog wheel shuttle capability along with in-depth protocol control of all major Nuendo 5 features.
Pyramix users will be able to individually assign channel strip features into different automation modes, for instance, users having their EQ in Touch and Dynamics in Latch and Sends in Read. According to users this has already proved powerful with beta testers who have mixed films using this new feature.
In three years Tango has completed 10 software revisions where many new features have been added, and has provided support and upgrades to new DAW engines whilst incorporating user inspired features into its software.
