SoundFields UPM-1 bundled with Minnetonkas ATS products

SoundField has reached an agreement with Minnetonka Audio whereby SoundField's UPM-1 stereo-to-5.1 upmixing plug-in will be bundled as part of Minnetonka's AudioTools Server (ATS) family of products.
Designed to seamlessly integrate into multichannel, file-based post-production workflows, the UPM-1 is the first upmixing plug-in to be bundled with
AudioTools Server. This adds another function to ATS's collection of standard options, such as loudness measurement and control, watermarking, file/format validation, and compliance and quality control. Additional ATS options include conditional branching, encoding/decoding, channel multiplexing/demultiplexing and transcoding.
ATS is a software framework for adding audio-related processing, QC and management functions to file-based workflows within existing production systems, while the UPM-1 converts stereo to 5.1 surround while retaining mono/stereo fold-down compatibility.
The UPM-1 plug-in option for AudioTools Server is available from select resellers or direct from Minnetonka Audio Software.
