Stomplight brings personal lighting to the stage

It’s not often we can boast about coming across a truly unique product, but the flagship product from Stomplight definitely meets that description. As the name suggest, the unit is essentially a visual stombox for musicians, reportedly able to fit onto or by the side of a pedal board, in a DJ booth or as part of a minimalist stage setup.

Stomplight effects include a Colour Organ mode, Colour Wheel mode, and Srobe Light mode, and the unit accommodates an integrated microphone with adjustable input gain allowing the effects to be modulated by music. All of this is intended to put lighting control in the hands of performers, and could be particularly useful for smaller contemporary houses of worship burdened by the cost of an in-house theatrical lighting system. The chassis features two rotary knobs for adjusting the light’s rate/brightness and sensitivity, and ‘stomp buttons’ for switching between modes, colours and powering the unit on and off.
