Studiomaster’s Livesys5 hits the spot

An all-in-one portable PA system featuring an onboard mixer and effects has been unveiled by Studiomaster. Intended as an ‘on the spot’ sound reinforcement solution or self-powered and controlled personal monitoring system, Livesys5 comprises a Class-D active 5-inch speaker offering 150W continuous and 300W peak power.
The integrated three-channel mixer features two mic/line inputs with XLR/TRS combo jacks and a line input on stereo phono or 35mm jack connectors. The front control panel also includes a three-band EQ and switchable 48v phantom power, while the rear of the unit includes a single XLR/TRS input for the connection of a stage monitor signal. Finally, an XLR ‘thru’ output is included, enabling either the connection of a front of house mixer or the feeding of further monitoring systems.
