Surgex introduces new sequencer surge eliminator and power conditioner
Published: PRODUCTS

The SEQ1200i unit is designed to provide surge elimination, power conditioning and sequencing for environments with complex mains distribution systems or system-critical boot-up sequences.
The unit features both common mode and normal mode comprising impedance tolerant EMI/RFI filtering, and Covus (Catastrophe Over/ Under Voltage Shutdown). The SEQ1200i features 10 industrial grade earthed IEC mains receptacles, including four sequenced banks plus two always on receptacles. A rear panel warning light indicates incorrect polarity of the mains supply.
SurgeX Advanced Series Mode stops all surges up to 6,000 volts without producing harmful side effects such as earth contamination or common-mode disturbances. The unit provides a remote control compatible power platform for audio, video, broadcast, computer and other sensitive equipment.
Integrators can specify bank-to-bank delay times of two, five, 10, 15 and 20 seconds, and the turn-on sequence can be initiated either by the front-panel operation switch or the rear panel Phoenix connector by using an applied voltage (5-30vdc) or contact closure switch. The Phoenix connector can also be used to cascade multiple units or provide status to a management system.
Region specific units are available with appropriate agency approved connectivity and load capabilities.
