Sygma P series

Kobble Digital Electronic Co Ltd has introduced the Sygma P series of amplifiers as its new flagship series, basing the designs on digital modulation SMPS circuitry.
There are currently five 1U models in the Chinese manufacturer’s range: the P-6000, P-8000, P-10000, P-12000 and P-18000, each providing maximum outputs of between 6kW and 18kW when bridged in 4Ω mode.
Weighing 11kg each, the amplifiers integrate DSP allowing control, management and monitoring from a laptop or PC via downloadable software. Like the Sygma D-series, P-series models also include protections including DC, over-current, under-voltage, over-temperature, VHF and high frequency short circuiting to earth. Stable thermal efficiencies of 90 per cent have also reportedly resulted due to the integration of fan-based temperature controls, while cobranet connectivity has been enabled via CAT-5.
