TASCAM’s CD200 series gets better connected

TASCAM has introduced the CD200iL - a front-loading professional-grade CD player equipped with a 30-pin iPod dock and Lightning connector – allowing files to be played directly from an Apple iPod or iPhone.

Like all models in the signature CD-200 series, the 2U rack-mountable CD-200iL features TASCAM’s CD-5020A CD transport, designed to provide quiet playback, smooth loading, longevity and anti-shock memory. The unit is capable of reading MP3 and WAV files from data CDs and can display ID3 tags and CD-Text. Aside from iOS compatibility, a 3.5mm stereo line input on the front panel allows for the connection of non-Apple auxiliary devices, whilst the rear-mounted stereo line RCA, coaxial, digital and optical audio outputs complete its connectivity options.

Additional features include pitch control with an on/off knob, a headphone output with level control, intro check and a variety of playback modes. An included wireless remote control provides access to most features and allows tracks to be selected directly via a 10-key pad
