Tasker goes hi-speed

Designed to provide high-quality data transmission up to the latest USB specification, Italian cable manufacturer, Tasker, has developed a new line of bulk transmission cables allowing for interfacing between A/V and USB equipped equipment.  The range currently consists of two UBS 2.0 cables – TSK 1160 and TSK 1161 – as well as the TSK 1162 UBS 3.0 variant.

All three models meet the UL AWM STYLE 2725 standard and each is available in 50- and 100m length reels.

TSK 1160 is described as a UBS 2.0 cable comprising a twisted pair and two power conductors. The cable is made from 26 AWG (American Wire Gauge), is suitable for UBS 2.0 A-B type connectors, and is encased within a black PVC-NPI external sheath to meet VW-1 flame retardant specifications. The cable also features double shielding (copper and braided), a high-density polyethylene external core and stranded O.F.C Tinned Copper conductors. The TSK 1161 features the same specification as the TSK 1160, except that it is made from thinner 28 AWG wire and has a ‘tight ‘knit braided shielding inside a transparent outer sheath.

Designed to meet UBS 3.0 specifications, the TSK 1162 is also made from 28 AGW. It comprises two twisted and shielded pairs, one twisted couple for switch and two power conductors. Like the TSK 1160, the UBS 3.0 cable features double (braided and non-braided) copper shielding, a high-density polyethylene external core and stranded O.F.C Tinned Copper conductors.
