The latest addition to Tasker’s RG59 family of cables is the RG59 AR coaxial armoured cable, designed to withstand assault from all species of rodents when deployed in underground installations.
Available with a PVC sheath of either 6- or 10mm in diameter, the RG59 AR’s armour is made from galvanised steel that protects its sole inner cable. It can handle up to 2,000V and has a conductor resistance of 158-Ohms/Km and an impedance of 75-Ohms. With underground installations in mind, the manufacturer states that the cable can operate at temperatures from -15- to 70-degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, in keeping pace with a world that is adopting 4K at a rapid rate, Tasker has released the TSK1060 Super. With a diameter of 8.5mm, it is an HDMI 2.0 4K cable with reportedly double the transmission frequency of previous HDMI format cables and the ability to transport 3D 4K signals up to 35m and a maximum bandwidth is 340MHz.
Other recent additions to the Tasker portfolio include the extra bendy RG59 Flex as week as the T42 PUR and TSK1077, all of which are designed for outdoor use.
