The Arc-2e joins Symetrixs line of ARC remotes

The ARC-2e is the latest menu-driven wall panel remote from Symetrix, replacing the Arc-2 and Arc-2i at a ‘significantly lower price point’.

It is designed to provide integrators with the ability to customise an end-user experience, no matter how complicated the underlying processing.

The ARC-2e presents integrators with a range of options. An example of this is that it can take its power either directly from the Symetrix DSP via Cat-5, or from an optional DC power supply (PS-6). Meanwhile, new ‘user-friendly’ rotary DIP switches determine the device's RS485 address.

Like the ARC-2 and ARC-2i, the ARC-2e supports eight static characters and up to 31 scrolling characters. Completing the list of features is instant user feedback for control assignments and default settings and actions. It also features fully customised programming from within the software, used to program the Symetrix DSP.

The ARC-2e comes with a white plastic faceplate, but an optional milled aluminium
metallic silver faceplate is also available.
