Several new additions have been added to TOA's UHF wireless microphone line up, including an expansion of two new UHF bands: the G band, which will operate between 606MHz to 636MHz; and the H band, which operates between 576MHz and 606MHz.
All of the company’s new wireless models as well as the current 4800 and 5000 series tuner models, plus the WM-5270 HH transmitter, will be offered on the new bands.
Finally, TOA is introducing new rechargeable UHF transmitters, meaning its current body-pack transmitters will be replaced by rechargeable models in the form of the WS-5225 and WS-5325H.
The WM-5265 is a new handheld model, which comes with a lightweight and durable resin body. A set of expandable battery charging stations including the BC-5000-2, BC-5000-6, BC-5000-12 and the new transmitters can be charged directly in the cradle – the new microphones can either operate with standard AA alkaline batteries or WB-2002Y rechargeable AA NiMH batteries. The YP-M5300 unidirectional lavalier condenser microphone is compatible with all TOA body-pack transmitters, providing intelligible speech in high-noise or feedback-sensitive environments. The WT-5100 is a portable tuner offering flexibility for tour-guide, listening assistance and camera-operated wireless applications.
