The UH2X-P1 extender from Hall Research now offers uncompressed HDMI, USB 2.0, Ethernet, RS232, IR, and PoE over a single Cat-5e/6 cable up to 100m by way of the HDBaseT 2.0 standard.
The plug-and-play extender kit comprises a transmitter and corresponding receiver, both capable of working with products equipped with either HDBaseT 1.0 or 2.0. All PC and HDTV resolutions are supported, including 4K (UHD), while the set is also PoH/PoE compliant (plus a power supply that plugs into the transmitter end). The receiver also includes an integrated two port USB 2.0 hub, while an audio return is available from the receiver to the sender (with a user-selected source).
Physically, the extenders are housed in low profile, metal enclosures and feature brackets for mounting on walls or under desk surfaces.
