Work Pro connects up the Arion Series

Launched under Equipson’s flagship Work Pro brand, the Arion SL 210A is a networked self-powered line array system.
Operating within an 84Hz to 18kHz (±3dB) frequency response, the SL 210A is capable of producing a maximum of 129dB SPL (135dB peak). The LF section is catered for by 10-inch woofers, whilst a 1.75-inch compression driver handles the mid and high frequencies.
A rear display panel highlights a menu with DSP presets providing system configuration including parameters such as filters, temperature, protections or shut down. Rear panel LED indicators also highlight signal, clip limiter, protection and system on/off parameters, all of which are remote controllable.
Outfitted with an RJ-485 port, Ethernet control can be enabled from external devices such as tablets and smartphones via the proprietary WorkCAD 3 software. The manufacturer states that WorkCAD 3 has been designed to provide ‘a better workflow with more features, including a more extensive library of presets’. Currently, a total of eight factory presets are on the SL 210A with a further two available for customisation.
