WORK Pro gets Smart

WORK Pro has added the Smart series of ceiling loudspeakers to its growing catalogue. The SCPRO 4A integrates a dual 15W amplifier and monitor output together with bridge and dual modes, whilst the SCPRO 4BT adds a Bluetooth connection and the SCPRO 4BL incorporates a Blueline receiver, dual 5W amplifier, PoE supply and remote control (BLC1) capabilities. The three models can be connected to three passive speakers in serial (two in L and one in R) and can increase the number of installed devices from one to four speakers.

Incorporating features such as Automixer, together with an RS485 interface for external commands, the MD 82 AX is an 8-channel digital mixer with unbalanced inputs. Other features include three tone controls, high and low pass filters, four levels of anti-feedback control and multiple control capabilities. Each input receives phantom +48v power supply for the microphones.

The WFS 10 CX is a fibreglass IP55-rated loudspeaker designed for theme parks, stadiums and outdoor entertainment complexes. The 300W RMS rated model incorporates a 10-inch coaxial transducer with a 1-inch compression driver coupled to a 90-degree x 90-degree horn to provide 104dB sensitivity. Equipped with low impedance 8Ω and 100V line connectivity, it allows settings to be applied to several acoustic environments. Rated at 500W at 8Ω, the WPS 310 pendant speaker is a 10-inch coaxial model designed for open ceilings such as lounges, bars and hotels.

The PA 1254 amplifier can supply 150W to each of its four channels and comes with nine pre-sets, including 3/4 bridged, stereo, 2.1 and as four independent channels. In 2.1 mode, the low pass filter can be configured for the subwoofer, whilst the outputs for the satellites can be adjusted with the high pass filters.

The PA 100 half-rack amplifier provides 50W at 8Ω per-channel or 100W in bridged mode. A rear RJ45 port allows RJ485 protocol signals to be transmitted remotely to other devices, whilst RCA inputs connect auxiliary audio signals to it. The front panel comes with a power switch, main volume control knob and two LEDs for highlighting the signal input and peak. The PA 100 MX version comes with a pre-amplifier for microphone inputs, but also incorporates added features such as three anti-feedback presets for the mic input, auto-gain, mono or stereo and 100/70V – 8/16Ω selector. Two RCA input and one RCA output connectors are included, whilst a Euroblock input connection has been integrated for the microphone signal, whose gain can be easily adjusted using the knob. In the front panel the user can control different parameters of the signals as the level of the microphone, choose the signal inputs from a switch, the main volume or control tone (bass and treble) in the equalisation. The user can connect an external device using the jack connection in the front panel and check level of signal thanks to the LED that the PA 100 MX incorporates.
