Yamaha consoles to incorporate Lake processing
Published: PRODUCTS

The new MY8-LAKE is a mini YGDAI (Yamaha general digital audio interface) card that has been collaboratively developed by Lake Processing and Yamaha to bring the benefits of Lake Processing technology to Yamaha’s digital mixing consoles.
The MY8-LAKE implements Lake Processing technology including Mesa EQ, Ideal Graphic EQ, linear-phase crossover, and other sonic tuning features ¬¬which have been designed specifically for Yamaha digital mixing consoles. The compact card offers up to eight inputs and eight outputs in Mesa mode (system EQ), four inputs and 12 outputs in Contour mode (crossover), or a combination of these options to suit a particular application.
The inclusion of features such as flexible I/O configuration via the console’s insert points, AES/EBU connectors, and the ability to run at 96, 88.2, 48, or 44.1kHz are intended to make it easy to integrate Lake Processing into any system.
Lake Controller software installed on a compatible Windows PC allows precision control of the MY8-LAKE as well as other devices in the system, (including Lake’s LM Series and Lab.gruppen’s PLM Series). Additionally, the card is compatible with Smaart sound system measurement software. The card is distributed and supported exclusively by Yamaha.
